In addition to the visual works in Lauren Camp’s “Flinch: A Study of Your Self,” the exhibit includes an audio piece that Lauren is currently creating in collaboration with composer and sound designer CK Barlow and extended vocalist Molly Sturges. Provided to venues on a 60-minute CD, “I Am and You Are” creates an ambience around the visual work. The stories reveal glimpses into the female experience, showing how much we all have in common — women and men — and encouraging us to be okay with things about ourselves that make us flinch.
